How to restrict access for users without SSO or 2FA

Owner

If you are the owner of a POEditor organization and want to add an extra layer of security to the assets you host on the localization management platform POEditor, you can follow the steps in this article.

How to restrict access for users without 2FA

To grant access to the projects on your organization only to users who have enabled 2FA (two-factor authentication) on their accounts, you will need to go to the Organization Settings > Preferences and then scroll down to Security > Require 2FA.

The users assigned to your assets that have not enabled 2FA on their accounts will see a notification when trying to access the respective assets.

How to restrict access for users without SSO

To require users assigned to your organization's assets to log in with SAML Single Sign-On, you will need to access the Organization Settings > Preferences and then scroll down to Security > Require SSO.

Keep in mind that you must have set up the Single Sign-On on the organization before enabling the Require SSO option.

The users who haven't logged in via SSO will receive a notification when trying to access the assets they're assigned to.
