Below are described the instances in which you can use JSON files with the software localization platform POEditor.
Using JSON with the POEditor API
All communication to and from the POEditor API is made using JSON.
You can also transport data between your app and POEditor. For API import, you can use key-value JSON or transport JSON. If you want to directly add terms or sync your terms, use transport JSON.
Using JSON with the translation interface
In POEditor's translation interface, you can use the Import button in the Project Page to add terms and translations to your software localization project from either of the two JSON formats. Adding translations to a particular language is also possible in any Translations page, using the Import button.
