How to migrate projects to an organization

Owner

There are two ways to move projects from your POEditor account to a POEditor organization.

1. Move the localization projects when your create the organization (can be done in bulk)

You can migrate the localization projects hosted on your account to an organization when you create the organization.

You can choose which projects to move and also move your paid subscription and your billing profile, if you have any.

Migrate assets (Account Settings) - POEditor localization management software

Note that projects can be transfered only by their owner, so you won't be able to move the organization projects that are shared with you by another user.

Integrations with Git hosting services are also migrated to the organization upon moving the projects if you check the dedicated option in the migration wizard.

2. Move localization projects from their settings

Any organization manager can move individual localization projects from their account to the organization, provided that they are the owner of the project. The transfer can be requested from the project's settings.

Request project transfer (Project Settings) - POEditor localization platform

Once the transfer is finalized, everything in the project will be moved (strings, languages, screenshots, comments, setup, contributors, etc.), except for the teams assigned to it.
